Lucky...
I feel so fortunate that (a) K and I enjoy each other so much (that's obviously a good thing since we're married!), and (b) that we are able to share a lot of our free time doing things together. Last night we enjoyed a 5-mile run on the Greenbelt ("together" as much as possible considering our different paces) followed by dinner at Rudy's. Two of our favorite things! Then, I spent the rest of the evening preparing for class tonight. Today we also had a rare treat in that we got to have lunch together since I was attending a training downtown. K picked me up and we wandered around looking for an "easy" place to get to and park before stumbling into a Mexican restaurant (Santa Rita Tex-Mex Cantina) that we had never been to before. We still had a little time to spare before I had to be back so we stopped at Polka-dots for dessert! Yum! Since I will be gone with class for most of the night tonight, it was nice to get a little extra K time today. Lucky girl indeed.
