All good things must end...

Tonight we had our post-race happy hour at NXNW. There was a good turnout of folks from our training group, as well as a few other trail runners who weren't necessarily in our group. This has been such a great experience for us, from the new friends we met, getting to work with Joe, exploring local trails (in and out of Austin), testing my limits, and of course culminating with the race itself. I am sad to see it come to an end. I like what Joe said about completing the race and the training group - "There are more programs, more races, more adventures...but for this moment, you can file it away and recall when you need a good smile or a laugh. Now, its time to move on to the next adventure." Indeed. But, choosing what to do next is proving to be the hard part (more on that in another post...).
