Our trip hasn't turned out quite the way that I had hoped. I had been quietly hoping for a nice, romantic getaway with my K, but for several different reasons it hasn't quite turned out that way.
My day today ended before it really got started. I woke up not feeling well, so I stayed at the hotel to rest while K hit the slopes by himself. I'm glad he had a good day, but I just wish that I had been there to join him.
We've had a couple of really good meals for dinner at local restaurants in town for the past 2 nights. Two thumbs up for that.
No skiing tomorrow. We need to make our way back to Denver by early afternoon, so it's not really worth spending the money on lift tickets from my perspective. We get back to Austin around 7 tomorrow night - perfect timing to get settled back at home and get ready for the rest of the workweek.
